The Certified Rating Programs of HVI were created to provide a fair and credible method of comparing ventilation performance of similar products. Our bathroom fans are tested to qualify for certification, plus the bathroom exhaust fans are subject to random verification testing to ensure that they continue to meet their certified performance ratings. All testing for certification and verification is performed by third-party laboratories independent of any manufacturer.
